How does AirDAO integrate with web3, and how does this integration enhance the user experience?

AirDAO integrates with Web3 by allowing users to connect their existing Web3 wallets to the platform directly. This integration provides seamless access to decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts, enhancing user interaction with the blockchain ecosystem. Airdao also has relationships with several tier 1 centralized exchanges, providing full integration across the market. 

What plans does AirDAO have for expanding to different regions and countries this year? 

AirDAO currently has communities in all its target regions and languages. In Q4 of 2024, we aim to add the Arabic community.

A law for cryptos was passed in Turkey. Do you plan to be listed on Turkish exchanges due to this law?

We carefully monitor the regulations in Turkiye. In the current legal framework, there is no prohibition on restricting the use of global exchanges. Our Turkish users can continue trading $AMB and use the AirDAO network safely.

What educational resources and support does AirDAO offer to help community members effectively understand and utilize its platform? 

AirDAO is developing an Academy to provide valuable educational resources for all users, helping them master crypto and Web3 technologies. Stay tuned for more details!

Can users link a wallet they have on MetaMask without creating a new one?

Yes, users can link their existing Safepal/MetaMask and other wallets to the AirDAO mobile app without creating a new wallet. The AirDAO mobile app lets you import wallets using private keys or seed phrases.

Here's how you can transfer your wallet to the AirDAO mobile app:

Open the AirDAO Mobile App: Download and install the AirDAO mobile app from your preferred app store.

Select Import Wallet: Navigate to the wallet section and choose to import a wallet.

Enter Private Key or Seed Phrase: Follow the prompts to enter your wallet's private key or seed phrase securely.

Complete the Process: Once you enter your wallet, the app will securely link it, allowing you to manage your assets directly from the AirDAO app.

This seamless process ensures that you can easily manage and transfer your existing wallets, providing a convenient and secure way to use your wallet within the AirDAO ecosystem.

What security measures does AirDAO implement?

The team meticulously reviews the code, employs advanced technologies and development standards, and undergoes audits by third-party professional companies such as Hacken. All funds and liquidity are secured with multi-sig, requiring seven distinct signatures to authorize transactions. Additionally, any initiatives for deploying liquidity are subject to community voting, ensuring the involvement and input of hundreds of AirDAO users.

What are the most significant technical challenges or limitations the AirDAO team faces?

The AirDAO network has a long history and has improved many times over the years. Therefore, it's difficult for builders to onboard without clear documentation, and builders may require extra support. As a result, we have committed to revamping all of our documentation, which will be ready in time for our upcoming hackathons. We will also utilize these hackathons to make further improvements.

The expansion with Safepal is incredible, but aside from this new integration, do you have any plans to expand to other wallets?

Yes, we do plan to expand to other wallets on the market, and we are already in discussions with several of them. However, we are committed to our partnership with SafePal, as we believe this is a solid wallet for our users.

Does AirDAO have any special plans to increase marketing during the upcoming bull run to create awareness about the project's potential?

Why wait for the bull run? We have already made great strides in the marketing department. All marketing is strategically aligned to deliver our key metrics. These KPIs, shared with the community each month, include our social media traction, on-chain activity, and TVL within the ecosystem.

Is a new member recruited in case AirDAO council members leave their positions or their membership is terminated due to a negative situation? If yes, what are the criteria for recruiting new members?

AirDAO recruits new members if a council member leaves or is terminated. The process involves opening applications to all interested candidates who must submit their profiles and a presentation to the community. The community then votes on the candidates. The candidate with the most votes is elected to the council. This ensures transparency and community involvement in the selection of new council members.

How does the AirDAO community contribute to the development of the governance framework?

The AirDAO Governance 2.0 framework and portal are being built by the Governance Working Group, composed of community members. Hence, the whole governance system is built by the community for the community. This GWG, which is building the governance portal, consists of over 30 community members from different regions, led by community representatives Sefe Oyin and Nas Garba. Council member Alina Tustanovska is exceptionally coordinating and leading this initiative and having the community members bring their best ideas to life.

Can you provide insights into the economic model of AMB tokens and how it supports the sustainability of the AirDAO ecosystem?

The economic model of AMB tokens supports the sustainability and growth of the AirDAO ecosystem through three primary roles: medium of exchange, utility, and governance.

Medium of Exchange: AMB is the native token used to pay gas fees and execute on-chain transactions, ensuring smooth operations within the AirDAO ecosystem.

Utility: AMB tokens are staked in validator nodes, which are responsible for verifying transactions on the blockchain. Validators receive AMB rewards for their work, encouraging robust Participation and maintaining network security.

Governance: AMB functions as a governance token. Users can get SBTs and participate in AirDAO governance for holding AMB in their wallets.

Will users receive airdrops if they are holding AMB?

By participating in the Star Fleet Staking Pool, users holding $AMB can earn a fixed 10% APY and receive airdrops of $KOS, $AST, and $HBR tokens.

As DAO, you attach great importance to community decisions. We saw this in the council member elections. In the future, will there be a situation where AirDAO may not implement the community's decision?

In short, no. If the community makes a decision, it is final.

With this in mind, we propose a diversified approach to utilizing profits from COMP and AAVE while incorporating the burning procedure more effectively. Read the article to get more details. 

Token burning has long been recognized as a powerful mechanism within fully developed ecosystems where circulation closely matches full supply. This process can enhance the value of the coin and positively impact its price by creating scarcity. However, in our case, while monthly burning in small portions can create deflationary pressure, it may not support the price as effectively as desired, and the novelty has already gone. With this in mind, we propose a diversified approach to utilizing profits from COMP and AAVE while incorporating the burning procedure more effectively.

If we move forward with these diversified options, we propose to maintain the burning process in a more impactful way:

Competitions, Low entry barrier opportunities, and Engagement: To engage the community, incorporate burning as part of the rewards in competitions and lotteries. Also, active ecosystem participants will be rewarded for their contributions.

Biannual Large-Scale Burning: Significant burns are conducted every six months, which could have a more pronounced effect on the AMB price and scarcity.

Understanding the Downfalls of Regular Token Burning

Ineffectiveness of Small-Scale Burning: Monthly burning in small portions has not had the anticipated significant price-supporting effect. For instance, despite PancakeSwap burning approximately 8.59 million CAKEs worth around $18 million, there was no noticeable price reaction. 

Similarly, ALPACA.finance’s regular monthly burn of about 0.5% of the entire supply initially led to a price increase, but this effect eventually waned.

Examples from Other Projects: GNO abandoned its approach of smooth, small purchases in favor of a single, larger buyback of $30 million. This strategy had a more noticeable medium-term impact on the price.

To better leverage the profits from COMP and AAVE, we propose a multifaceted approach that includes community engagement and strategic burning. Here are the options for community engagement rewards:

Farm Rewards on DEX: Distribute USDC to provide additional incentives for adding liquidity to pools. For example: this may offer a ~100% APY for three months exclusively to SBT holders.

New Staking Pools in AirDAO Wallet: This pool may allow users to stake stablecoins with an APR of 50%, capped at $3,000 per wallet. SBT token holders can achieve a yield of 150% per year.

Interactive Claim Mechanism: Introduce a feature where users can claim rewards (1 USD, 100 AMB, or 80 BOND) every hour. These claims will appear randomly across different pages of our website, adding an element of fun and engagement, increasing the time people spend exploring our ecosystem.

Lottery System: Users can buy lottery tickets for 1 USDC each, with the chance to win 10,000 USDC or claim a refund in AMB.

Daily Faucet in Wallet: Allow users to claim 1 USDC daily by logging in and signing transactions, allowing them to earn 30 USDC for 30 consecutive claims in a month. Alternatively, reward users with AMB rewards with a daily increase and a reset if a day is missed.

Community and Contributor Rewards: Offer drops and rewards based on activity and contributions to the ecosystem.

We believe in the power of community support and engagement. Therefore, we will conduct a vote to finalize the next steps for utilizing profits and the new burning strategy. The community will decide whether it accepts the proposed new burning mechanism and reward system. We encourage all community members to participate and voice their opinions.

How to Vote: The voting will take place on the Snapshot platform. Snapshot is a trusted and widely used tool for DAO governance, offering a secure and transparent voting process. This is where we have always made our DAO governance decisions. Make sure to have your wallet ready and linked to Snapshot at the time of voting.

Important: Our AirDAO Governor SBT (the first soul-bound token acquired by each registered AirDAO Governor that indicates the holder is a verified person with the right to govern in AirDAO) and the new system are still being developed and are not yet at a sufficient level to make certain decisions.

In the interim, we are excited to introduce a retro drop program using previous months' profit to reward those wallets that have actively supported the ecosystem through their participation during the last months. The overall pool contains $33711 USDC.

Number of votes participated In: More participation in votes will result in higher rewards.

Activity on the wallet in the last six months: Active wallets will receive greater rewards.

Whether the User Has Minted SBTs: Users who have minted SBTs will receive additional rewards.
